Who is v.2 Consulting, Inc.?

v2 Consulting provides dedicated Macintosh and iOS support to businesses of all sizes since 1999. We started offering Apple certification training in 2002 and have evolved to be one of the top Apple Authorized Training Centers in the US.

How long have you been around?

v.2 Consulting, Inc. was founded by David S Long on January 1st, 1999. Now in our 14th year, we are still providing the best consulting and training for Macintosh, iOS and Apple-related technologies.

Why use v.2 Consulting, Inc.?

We have been supporting Macintosh since System 7, OS X since version 1.0 and we completed our first iOS deployment in 2010 so we've been doing this for a long, long time.

All of our employees are certified including three AppleCare techs, and we all use Apple products (except that random Android phone we can't seem to get rid of).

Finally, being and Apple Authorized Training Center, we have trained and/or certified the majority of Mac Consultants on the West Coast.

What about the Apple Store?

We love and support our local Apple Stores and Apple SMB sales and encourage our clients to purchase locally. Should you need services, software or hardware not sold though an SMB Sales or your local store, we can help you find the right product for the right job.

Payment is due within five (5) business days of registering, or by the first day of class, which ever is sooner.  Should you be unable to abide by this policy, a PO would be needed in order to secure your seat in class until payment can be received.


We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, checks, and money orders as valid forms of payment.

Terms of Service

v.2 Consulting, Inc. is confident you will enjoy each class you attend with us. If not, you can retake the same class at the next available date, free of charge.  Makeup classes may require travel to an alternate v.2 Consulting, Inc. location and do not include replacement materials.  Students wishing to take advantage of the Satisfaction Policy must express their intent prior to the end of the course. Policy DOES NOT apply to any bootcamp or accelerated course offering.

Refund Policy

  • You will receive a full refund if written notice is received a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to the start of class.
  • A full credit will be issued if written notice is received 7-13 days prior to start of class.
  • A fifty percent (50%) credit will be issued for cancellations or reschedule requests less than seven (7) days prior to start of class.
  • Class credits are valid only for classes scheduled within three (3) months of cancellation and are only good for classes offered through v.2 Consulting, Inc.

Every effort is made to deliver scheduled classes, though we reserve the right to cancel or change classes at any time. In the event of a cancelled or rescheduled class, registered students are eligible for full refund. We, however, are not liable for any expenses incurred to attend class including, but not limited to, travel arrangements.

Course Material

Any electronic course material will be sent to students within one calendar week prior to class commencement. Printed materials are available at an additional cost, and will be available the first day of class.

What information do we collect? 

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter. 

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.


What do we use your information for? 

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways: 


Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.


The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.


How do we protect your information? 

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. 

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.


Do we use cookies? 

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart and understand and save your preferences for future visits.

Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone or by contacting customer service.


Do we disclose any information to outside parties? 

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel and going to the 'Edit Profile' page.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance 

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
