Mac OS X Service for Technicians (MacSvcOS)

Designed to teach students how to use their knowledge of the Mac OS to troubleshoot Mac OS X and isolate a hardware issue.  This course was created specifically for those seeking to become an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP).  (2 days) 
Students should have the following prerequisite knowledge prior to attending this course:
- Basic Mac OS X knowledge
- Basic troubleshooting experience
 
Course Description:
Mac OS X Service for Technicians is a two-day course that focuses on identifying and resolving Mac OS X problems through troubleshooting as it relates to hardware repairs.  This class itself is not required when working towards your Apple Certified Macintosh Technician certification (ACMT);  however, you will have to pass the exam testing the information that is covered in this class.
 
Who Should Attend:
- Those working to gain their Apple Certified Macintosh Technician certification (ACMT) in order to become an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP).
 
What You Will Learn:
- How to diagnose whether a Mac symptom is hardware or software related before opening the machine.
