New Classes Posted! Leopard classes have been posed through the end of 2008. We will also be adding additon dates for certain classes as demand increases. Xsan 2 As many of you know, Apple is shipping Xsan 2. Additionally they have replaced the beloved Xserve RAID with Promise. v.2 Consulting, Inc. has already delivered Xsan 1.4 classes running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. We also allocate several hours during class to upgrade, install and learn about Xsan 2. In the next few weeks, as the Promise RAIDs become available, v.2 Consulting, Inc. will be the first training company to have access to this exciting new technology and will incorporate it in the current Xsan 1.4 class. If that's not enough, attend Xsan 1.4 training with us and v.2 Consulting, Inc will offier a free 1-day (approx 4-6 hours) delta seminar at its facilities to anyone of our Xsan students. Changes in Hardware Certification Starting January 2008, our Hardware classes will be to prepare students for the Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) test. This new exam covers the hardware portion of certification towards both the Desktop and Portable Technician certification. It's two certifications for the price of one! The class will run M-F, just as the previous courses it has repalced. We will also start offering the Leopard Service and Support (MacSrvc 60) to cover the software troubleshooting portion of the ACMT testing process. This class will run the Thu-Fri previous to the ACMT course mentioned above. It is important to note that the Leopard MacOS 101 test will no longer fill the software portion of the ACMT certifiication path. Please see our class schedule for the next available classes. Additional information can be found on our FAQ page. San Jose's first Macintosh Training Facility v.2 Consulting has expanding it's training and consulting facilities to the South Bay. At the end of 2007, Mac OS X IT Certification courses are now offered at our San Jose facility, filling a hole left as Apple closed it's training centers.
